Micro United Network Pte Ltd., a Singapore incorporate, privately held company is involved in the business of Voice, Video and Data over IP product distribution. It also provides contemporary IP based solutions in the field of communication and security.
Incorporated in the year 1999, the management is in collaboration with an India based technology company that had years of experience in running niche distribution in Internet based products and solution. It had then belonged to the international Micro Village group with other associate companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. Being part of the international group, Micro United has gained enormous knowledge and expertise to run its business regionally with business representations in ASEAN countries through like minded partners as well as in parts of SAARC region (Srilanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc)
In 1999, Micro United started business as the authorized distributor and solution partner for the then world No. 1 Remote Access Server (RAS) product named Total Control of 3Com. The demand for narrow band Internet solution was straightening up and Broadband access solution was getting introduced in developed countries such as Singapore and Malaysia while dialup access was the predominant mode of Internet access is many developing and yet to develop countries. The relationship and business association with Service Provider industry customers gave Micro United a distinct advantage to create acceptance of IP based solution products. Backed with the customer confidence Micro United entered into a regional distribution agreement with Broadband Access and VoIP product companies such as Quintum, Grandstream, Trango Broadband, 3Com and more. The year 2002/2003 witnessed the beginning of the enterprise VoIP solutions explosion in this region and Micro United was right in the middle of the progress with appropriate brand and its solutions. It was just the tip of the iceberg that later led to the creation of more partnerships not just with brands but with regional business associates too. |

- Grandstream Inc – an American company who is the leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions. It serves the small-to-medium business and consumer markets.
- Quintum – NET – an American company who has developed a complete line of intelligent Tenor VoIP access switching and gateway solutions that are deployed in enterprise and service provider networks around the world.
- Digium / Asterisk – an American company who is the innovative force behind Asterisk®, the world's most widely used open source telephony platform. In addition, Digium develops the software, hardware, and other components required to create a unified communications solution for a small or medium business.
- Genband Inc – an American company that is a leading worldwide supplier of next-generation IP gateways, session border controllers and FMC security solutions for Tier 1 Telco, ITSP, mobile operators and more….

The growth phase of Broad Band Access and VoIP solutions in ASEAN and SAARC regions began in 2002/2003 and kept growing all through these years. Micro United has evolved as the premier company offering solution to Telco operators based on carrier network opportunities. The solutions scaled from few installations to large-scale integration. It is not only with supply and implementation but maintenance too is the core expertise of Micro United.
